TIPS TO SOLVE FINANCIAL CRISIS

The fear of being hit with a miserable incident that could change your financial condition, like losing your job, impoverishment, or a sudden medical emergency, can be a nightmare for anyone. Such miserable events require you to make major changes in your life and the revitalization period is incredibly stressful. Often, it is the result of a lot of trifling constant worries building up to one huge breaking point, and then all of a sudden everything rushes through, constructing a tidal wave of anxiety and fear and stress.
However, your financial crisis can be remedied by regaining your self-control and taking solid actions. The financial benefits of dealing with financial crisis—saving more, paying down debt—will improve not just your self confidence, but your overall mood as well. The less you worry about dealing with finances issues, the more you can enjoy life. You may consider your circumstances as unique, but many people around the world have walked this path before you. The road to financial revival is shabby but the steps to return after the financial disaster are well-proven.
So let’s get started with some useful tips that will help you to get motivated to take control of your finances:

1.  Identify the Problems

The first step to overcoming financial crisis is to identify the primary problem that is causing difficulties. Financial problems are generally an indication of a larger issue and to come up with long run solutions, you have to identify the actual cause of your financial troubles. The idea behind the importance of uncovering a specific problem is to come up with a permanent solution. Just like a leaky tap in your house; placing a bucket below it is a temporary solution. Fix the tap and the leak will stop permanently. Rather than dwelling on your stress, focus on resolving the problem that’s causing your financial problems.

2. Create a Budget

One of the best ways to deal with financial problems is creating a budget plan. A budget is a weekly, monthly or a yearly spending plan for your money that guides your spending decisions on important stuff for you. As you create your budget, it’s important to track your expenses for at least a couple of weeks (a month is best) to objectively see where and how much you are spending.
Once you are able to get realistic numbers from your budget, you can review your budget critically and seek out areas where you can save. Things like spending less on eating outside, spending less on entertainment or hobbies, taking lunch from home to work rather buying it are things that don’t make you miserly or restrict your budget. They just allow you to go after bigger things with less stress, like paying off your mortgage.

3. Set Financial Priorities

Determining your financial priorities is essential to overcome any financial crisis. These priorities help you to make tough financial decisions such as paying off your credit card bill, paying your mortgage or saving up for house repairs for your family; setting priorities will help you solve your money troubles and get back on track. Your financial priorities should include looking into new ways to have money coming in too, like a second job, downsizing your home, or even using assets you have like a mortgage to leverage financial flexibility for yourself.

4. Address the Problem

For most people, financial problems can be addressed by reducing expenses and increasing income, or a little combination of both, but it might be not be the ideal option for everyone. For humans, changing lifestyle is the most difficult task, but given the money crisis situation, we are forced to make changes.
So to deal with it, take small steps to accomplish your goals because big changes are always much harder. For instance; if you’re running $50 short every month, then perhaps you should first pay off a small credit card debt that requires a $50 minimum payment each month. By taking small steps get the card paid off, and then permanently have $50 extra to use in your budget every month or use it for the payment of another debt, and get all of your debts paid off more quickly.
This methodology is called the “snowball effect”; putting all extra money towards one debt to pay it off faster and then use the extra amount towards eliminating the next debt. It is very useful method for paying debts off faster.

5. Develop a Plan and Track Progress

Once you have ideas to tackle your financial difficulties, come up with a realistic plan to accomplish your financial goals with a timeline of weeks, months or years and track your progress continuously. For example, if your goal is to pay off a $2,000 debt, make a plan and create a timeline with the amount of money you will pay every month so that you can pay it off within your desired time frame. Once you are on the road to achieve it, take a few minutes to review the progress. Evaluate and assess your plan, see if you are making progress toward your goals and be open to the possibility of fine-tuning the plan

13 Top Billionaires’ Tips on Positive Thinking—and Why It Matters

Leadership Money Productivity Quotes Self-education Successby
In popular culture, people know that they are supposed to “think positive.” We all sort of know that we should scotch-tape affirmations to our bathroom mirrors and say “I love you” to ourselves, and keep our chins up (presumably while reading those mirror-stuck affirmations)
But why?
Well, on the surface of it, if you think positive, you’re not thinking negative, and therefore, you’re not grumpy and depressed. That’s a pretty good reason on its own. After all, who else but a poet or an emo musician wants to be grumpy and depressed?
But research shows that there are very real and measurable benefits to consciously cultivating and maintaining a positive, optimistic view on life.
The Mayo Clinic has proved conclusively that optimists have lower levels of cardiovascular disease and longer life-spans. Furthermore, they found that pessimists’ health deteriorated more speedily as they aged.
Researchers at Yale and the University of Colorado discovered that pessimism is correlated with a diminished immune response to tumors and infection.
Dr. Martin Seligman, the founder of Positive Psychology, has done landmark work that shows that positive, optimistic people have deeper and broader social networks, are more effective communicators, and are more resilient, seeing failure as a learning experience rather than as a confirmation of their ineptness, and therefore they believe they can do better in the future.
Moreso, in a broad study of insurance salespeople, he found that the optimistic ones sold 37% more policies than pessimists, who were twice as likely to abandon their career during their first 12 months of employment.
Seligman gives guidelines on how to cultivate optimism for those of us who have developed negative habits in his book, Learned Optimism.
But you don’t have to only look at the research to see that a positive outlook on life and optimism breeds success. When you look at the lives of billionaire innovators, you see that a positive mindset keeps the minds of the highly successful focused on what is possible rather than on what blocks them; on alternatives rather than on roadblocks; on creative solutions rather than on blame.

1. Imagine you’re on the threshold of success.

Andrew Carnegie, though often viewed as a shrewd and tight-fisted Scotsman, was actually a veritable starburst of sunny optimism.
“Think of yourself as on the threshold of unparalleled success. A whole, clear, glorious life lies before you. Achieve! Achieve!”
Carnegie, who famously hired Napoleon Hill to gather up the wisdom of the rich and powerful in a project that produced the book Think and Grow Rich, grounded his optimism in utter 100% responsibility in his own internal resources.
“Immense power is acquired by assuring yourself in your secret reveries that you were born to control affairs.”
Positivity gives the mega-successful the internal fuel to power through downturns and what others would call failure.

2. Keep moving forward.

Mark Zuckerberg veritably defined our fast-paced innovation culture with his most famous quote:
“Fail fast and break things.”

3. Think like a queen.

Or in Oprah’s words:
“Think like a queen. A queen is not afraid to fail. Failure is another stepping stone to greatness.”

4. Failure isn’t the end; it is the beginning.

Failure among billionaires is understood to be part of the creative whirlwind that is the very life of business. Success in not an endpoint. It’s merely a link in the continuing spiral.
“Failure is just a resting place. It is an opportunity to begin again more intelligently.”
– Henry Ford
“I have not failed. I have just found 10,000 ways that won’t work.”
– Thomas Edison

5. Abundant chance is all around you.

Sheldon Adelson, the toilet-kit salesman come multi-billionaire mastermind of the Las Vegas Sands Corporation expresses the optimistic mindset that failure is not only necessary, but that opportunity is unlimited.
“For me, businesses are like buses. You stand on a corner and you don’t like where the first bus is going? Wait ten minutes and take another. Don’t like that one? They’ll just keep coming. There’s no end to buses or businesses.”

6. Find the courage to continue.

Optimism may come easy to some. For others, it’s the cultivated result of another quality, which Churchill identified as courage:
“Success is not final, failure is not fatal; it is the courage to continue that counts.”

7. Own your mistakes—

Optimism and positive thinking feed our courage. Courage need not be heroic. Rather it may merely be the cool-headed outgrowth of a positive belief in yourself.
When Howard Schultz discovered that one of his most costly innovations had utterly flopped and cost the company nearly $100 million, he walked into his boardroom, looked his board in the eye and said, “Tactical mistake. Next.” No hand-wringing. No self-loathing. In fact, his entire ethos is summarized in the title of his memoir, “Onward.”

8. —and then move on.

Similarly, Steve Jobs:
“Sometimes when you innovate, you make mistakes. It is best to admit them quickly, and get on with improving your other innovations.”
Jobs elaborated on his philosophy by applying his belief in innovation not only to his work, but to himself as well.
“If you want to live your life in a creative way, as an artist, you have to not look back too much. You have to be willing to take whatever you’ve done and whoever you were and throw them away.”
An optimist is open to the adventure of self-growth, and doesn’t cling to the past or present as a pessimist might, believing things can only get worse.

9. Trust your hard work.

Optimism is akin to faith, not merely in yourself but in something greater than yourself. Jobs, a noted mystic, put it this way:
“You can’t connect the dots looking forward; you can only connect them looking backward. So you have to trust that the dots will somehow connect in your future. You have to trust in something — your gut, destiny, life, karma, whatever. This approach has never let me down, and it has made all the difference in my life.”

10. Seek to help others.

Billionaires optimistically believe in a better world and see their efforts as contributing to it. As Peter Diamantis observed:
“The best way to become a billionaire is to help a billion people.”
Sergei Brin, Co-Founder of Google, when asked what really drove him, and what spurred his company to its stratospheric growth, replied:
“I would like to see anyone be able to achieve their dreams, and that’s what this organization does”

11. When in doubt, don’t be evil.

In fact, Google’s well-known slogan “Don’t be evil” stemmed from nothing other than a profoundly positive intent:
“We have tried to define precisely what it means to be a force for good—always do the right, ethical thing. Ultimately, “Don’t be evil” seems the easiest way to summarize it”

12. Have high expectations of yourself.

Billionaires often seek to create something great. Some are driven by the desire to have a great impact. Others just expect that greatness is before them. As Sam Walton says:
“High expectations are the key to everything.”

13. Be relentless.

However, this doesn’t mean that billionaires go about their businesses like starry-eyed Pollyannas. Kazuo Inamori, a Japanese entrepreneur who founded two multi-billion dollar companies claims that while developing a new product or strategy, you begin optimistically.
However, once the planning stage begins, he says you must “become a pessimist” in order to spot every obstacle in the way. Then, he says, he returns to optimism for the execution phase.
In the end, billionaires teach us that optimism is not a gift. It is a strategy.

NEVER STOP LEARNING

In order to succeed, your desire for success should be greater than your fear of failure”-Bill Cosby
What quality do you think differentiates the winners from the losers? Why are some people so successful in reaching their goals while others can’t achieve them? Because of their mindset, beliefs, and habits. Your brain is the first keystone to success. The second is your everyday actions, your daily habits. This list consists of 14 habits and beliefs that characterize phenomenally successful people—14 things that can transform your life as soon as you put them in your arsenal. If you want to become successful, you should get some paper and start taking notes.

1. They Know That Time Is Their Most Valuable Asset

They don’t let others make them invest time in activities they consider boring and counter-productive to their self-development. You shouldn’t do that either. When you think that something is a waste of your time, don’t do it. Your time is an asset that IS NOT INFINITE. Nobody on this planet has unlimited time, yet people tend to spend their time like garbage. The first thing you MUST DO if you want to change your life, become more successful, and achieve your goals is to change your perception of time. Realize that your time is not infinite and that you should spend it wisely, because it doesn’t come back.

2. They Step Out Of Their Comfort Zone

The only path to personal growth is doing things that make you feel awkward. When all you do is walk inside your comfort zone, you can’t grow as a person. You stay static because your activities can’t change you. If what you do doesn’t challenge you, if it’s not uncomfortable and difficult, then you should raise your standards and increase the game difficulty. You can’t build muscle if all you do is lift feathers. You have to lift heavy rocks.

3. They Create & Pursue Specific Goals

Most people don’t have goals at all. They don’t know what they want to do in their lives. They are just walking around like zombies. Would you ever take your car and start driving endlessly without knowing where you are going? Well, of course not. So why are you doing the same with your life? This is not a game, you don’t have 8 lives, only one. Setting up goals and having a destination is essential if you crave success. But that’s only the first step. The second step is to take these goals and make them specific. A goal like “I want to lose weight” isn’t specific. A goal like “I want to lose 15 pounds in the next 3 months” is what you should have in your mind.

4. They Focus on Small Continuous Improvements

Most people try to achieve overnight success. They want results instantly! Those who succeed in life know that things take time. How much time will it need? It takes as long as it takes. There is no certain period of work that guarantees success. Instead of trying to get rich in one month, you should focus on making little daily improvements. These improvements add up as the time passes, and after months or years of daily commitment, the progress is HUGE. That’s what every successful person does. Unfortunately, people can’t see the daily effort, as they only see the final outcome. Don’t ignore the progress. It might take some time, but it will be worth it. Focus on getting better every single day instead of trying to achieve a huge leap forward in just a week or so.

5. They Dress to Impress

When you dress like a winner, people tend to respect you more. In psychology, this is known as The Halo Effect. In particular, people tend to make a perception of your whole character based on a single quality that you have shown them. If you look great and you take care of your appearance, then people assume that you are someone who deserves their respect—someone who is also successful, reliable, and kind. When Aristotle Onassis went to America, before becoming a millionaire, he spent all his money to buy clothes that would highlight his style and class. If Onassis gave such importance to his physical appearance, I don’t see any reason that you shouldn’t do the same.

6. They Maintain a Positive Mindset

Your thoughts are the brush that paints your destiny. Successful people think positive and don’t look at their disadvantages. They fight with what they have and always seek improvement. But this improvement can’t come if your mind is continuously occupied by negative thoughts and stress. Positive thinking has been found to reduce stress and, according to Mayo Clinic, it also offers benefits like:
  • Increased life span
  • Lower rates of depression
  • Better psychological and physical well-being
  • Reduced risk of death from cardiovascular disease
  • Better coping skills during hardships and times of stress

7. They Embrace Failures

Phenomenally successful people carry the belief that failures are the stepping stones to success. Each failure yields rewards bigger than a win because it can offer you an invaluable life lesson. Start seeing your failures as an opportunity to become better instead of letting them bring you down and disappoint you.

8. They Surround Themselves With Winners

Jim Rohn has said that “you are the average of the 5 people you spend the most time with.” People with who you associate play a significant role in your life because they form your lifestyle and beliefs. If you are around people who are full of negativity, you won’t be able to maintain positive thoughts. On the other hand, if you are around people who write down their goals, focus on daily improvement, and dress to impress, you will be pushed to become the best version of yourself. Surround yourself only with like-minded people who have big dreams and are eager to take the necessary steps to achieve them. They will take you to the top with them.

9. They Don’t Seek The Perfect Moment, They Make a Random Moment Perfect

What are you waiting for? The right moment will never come. The circumstances will never be ideal, and if you wait for tomorrow to get started, it will never come. Tomorrow is just an excuse for inertia. There is no perfect moment. What matters is to get started as soon as possible and make the best out of what you have.

10. They Don’t Brag, They Listen

Successful people are ALWAYS eager to learn new things. They ask questions and they listen carefully to other people’s advice. They usually don’t talk too much because they are focused on listening and processing information. On the other hand, losers always speak about how much they know and how amazing their accomplishments are. They are so blinded by their need for acceptance that the only thing they care about is to brag about what they know. And in most cases, they just talk the talk. They don’t walk the walk.

11. They Know That Education is a Constant Process.

Do you believe that you should stop learning when you finish school or college? If the answer is yes, then it’s crucial to change that belief before it’s too late. Education shouldn’t stop at school or college; you should learn new things every single day. It isn’t a coincidence that the most successful people are those who have read countless books and have spent a lifetime acquiring new skills.

12. They Help Other People

Success isn’t about caring for your selfish needs. It’s about caring for the needs of others. EVERY successful person accomplished his goals because what he did really helped others in some way. Mark Zuckerberg gave the world a tool that made it easy to connect with their friends. Larry Page and Sergey Brin gave world a system (Google) that made it easy to find unlimited information in milliseconds. Famous singers and actors help people by fulfilling their emotional needs. If you want to succeed in life, you shouldn’t focus on yourself, you should focus on how you can improve other people’s lives!

13. They Have The Courage to Say NO

This is actually a quality that really separates the winners from the losers. When you are not afraid to say no, you have already avoided the need to please everyone. Trying to please everybody is impossible and can only lead to disappointment. When you don’t want to do something, just say no without apologizing for your decision.

14. Successful People Take Ownership Of Their Actions

Most people make the mistake of pointing fingers to others for their faults. They never accept responsibility for their actions and always believe that someone else is responsible for their misery. Targeting others for your frustrations won’t help you achieve your goals, it can only hurt other people’s feelings or even create enemies. In fact, your actions or your inertia is what actually determines the quality of your life. Blaming others is just an excuse to avoid the hard work needed to change your life. Stop blaming others and take care of your future, because it depends only upon YOUR ACTIONS.
Set a goal for yourself

Don't be afraid of going slow. Be afraid of standing still."

Worring changes nothing, you better decide to act or keep calm.''
